She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Lester and Edith Smith (Rose); and her brother Roy Smith. She is survived by: her brother Benet Smith (Cindy) of Butlerville; her niece Shelly Spurlock of Seymour; her nephew Shane Forwalt Sr. of Westport; her great-nieces, Chesnee May Jones of Seymour, Faith Forwalt of Butlerville, Gracie Forwalt of Butlerville and Hope Forwalt of Butlerville; and her great-nephew Shane Forwalt Jr. of Columbus.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home in honor of Ruth to the Westport Wesleyan Church.
