He was predeceased by: his son Rusty Whicker; and his uncle Lubbie Whicker. He is survived by: his parents, Earl Whicker and Christine Whicker (Sams); his wife Pamela Wilds; his daughters, Christen Jester (Kevin) of Hanover and Alyssa Land (Josh) of North Vernon; his siblings, Tammy Bray (Ernie) of Trafalgar, Barb Blodgett of Taylorsville, Earl Wayne Whicker (Daphne) of Evansville and Donnie Whicker (Rene) of Nashville; and his grandchildren, Beila, Aria Jester of Hanover and Crew Land of North Vernon.
Memorials should be made to the Russ Whicker Memorial Scholarship for Promising Engineers via the Jennings County Community Foundation.
