Ruby Myrtle Spicer Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ruby Myrtle Spicer of North Vernon, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 20, 2024 at the age of 102. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ruby Myrtle Spicer to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elic Hill and Katie Hill (Coomer); her former husbands, Elijah Spicer and Robert Hill; her husband Ewin Rowe; her daughter Linda Whitaker; her son-in-law Raymond Pearson; her grandson Chad; her stepdaughter Geraldine George; and her siblings, Chester (Arie Hill), Rosie Loy, Hazel Neal and Matrie Roach (Flossie Garman).
She is survived by: her daughters, Sharon Pearson of North Vernon, Patricia Nugent (Patrick) of Rhode Island and Margaret Buscemi of Spring Hill, Florida; her stepchildren, Kenny Spicer of Plant City and Helen Graham (Charles) of Brownstown; and her siblings, Tommy Hill of Tennessee and Cecil Harvey of Columbia, Kentucky. She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the North Vernon Church of the Nazarene (2195 IN-3, North Vernon, IN 47265). A burial will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at the Vernon Cemetery (315 S Pike St, Vernon, IN 47282).
Memorials may be made through the funeral home in honor of Ruby to North Vernon Church of the Nazarene.
