He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Combest and Dorothy Combest (Lacey); and his son Chad Stearns. He is survived by: his daughter Echo Imlay (Jared) of North Vernon; his sisters, Diana Waltermire (Robert) of North Vernon, Donna Moore (Wayne) of North Vernon and Joyce Morrison (Jeff) of North Vernon; his grandchildren, Jayden Imlay, Bentley Stearns and Dalton Stearns; and his stepgrandson Jared Imlay II.

Memorials in honor of Ronnie may be made through the funeral home to the Wounded Warrior Project or American Heart Association.
