With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Roger Wayne Scroggins of North Vernon, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 9, 2024 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Scroggins and Naomi Scroggins (Dowell); and his brother Joseph Scroggins. He is survived by: his wife Francis Elizabeth "Beth" Carson; his children, Richard "Rick" Scroggins (Alma) of El Paso, Texas and Michele Followell (Mike) of Paris Crossing; his siblings, Robert Scroggins (Helen) of Columbus, Raymond Scroggins (Joyce) of Columbus, Ivan Scroggins (Barbara) of Franklin and Carol Walp (Tom) of Columbus; his sister-in-law Margaret "Peg" Scroggins of North Vernon; his grandsons, Seth Richardson (Shana) of Columbus, Aaron Richardson (Aeriel) of Columbus, Evan Richardson of Columbus and Jose Scroggins of El Paso, Texas; his stepgrandchildren, Javier Romero of Arizona and Alma Celia Romero of El Paso, Texas; and his great grandchildren, Claire of Columbus and Madison Richardson of Columbus.
Memorials may be made in honor of Roger through the funeral home to the Jennings Church of Christ Missions for shoeboxes.
