He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Carmer and Olive Hartwell (Baker); and his brother Richard Carmer. He is survived by: his wife Lisa Kieffer; his children, James Carmer (Susan) of North Vernon, Amy Voss (Josh) of North Vernon, Leah Gault (Brian) of North Vernon and Michael Hurst (Christi) of Milliken, Colorado; his grandchildren, Ryan, Morgan Carmer, Dillon Cockerham, Meegan, Madison, Macie Voss, Wyatt, Ethan, Luke Hurst and Katerina Gault; and his sisters, Judy Mullikin of North Vernon, Cathy Shuler (Don) of North Vernon, Shelley Biehle (Larry) of North Vernon, Betty Schneider (Richard) of North Vernon and Connie Geis (Dave) of Seymour.
Memorials may be made in honor of Roger through the funeral home to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
