He was predeceased by: his mother Judith May Neal (Sweezy); his sister Tammy Lynn Neal; and his nephews, Grant Neal, Matthew Brown and Josh Brown.

He is survived by: his father Ivan Ellsworth of Paris Crossing; his grandchildren, King Kong and Godzilla; his daughter Wendy Jackson (Charles) of North Vernon; his siblings, Debra Hewitt of Madison, Penny Hargesheimer of North Vernon, Melissa Neal (Randy Moore) of Seymour, Billie Moore (Kevin) of Butlerville, Bobbie Kirby (Steve) of North Vernon, Samantha Neal of North Vernon, Chad Neal of North Vernon, Johnny Neal (Alyssa) of North Vernon and Link Neal of North Vernon; and his grandchildren, Karissa Robbins (Alex) of North Vernon, Nathan Lucas of North Vernon, Serenity Lucas of North Vernon, Makensie Lucas of North Vernon, Makaela Lucas of North Vernon, Jeremy Long of North Vernon, Jasmin Jackson of North Vernon, Landon Jackson of North Vernon, Josiah Hamel of North Vernon, Amber Leon of Columbus and Brayton Eder of North Vernon. He is also survived by his 11 great grandchildren.
