He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Morton and Laura Esther Wheeler (Boknecht); his siblings, Benjamin Wheeler, Jr., Lindy Wheeler, Jim Wheeler and Anna Trowbridge; and his daughter-in-law Sherryl Wheeler.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Wheeler; his children, Robert "Mike" Wheeler (Marsha), Jerry Wheeler, Dan Wheeler, Tina Wheeler and Steve Wheeler (Patty); and his siblings, Jack Wheeler (Barbara), Bill Wheeler, Eva Jane White and Betty Foster. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren.
