With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert E. Alexander of North Vernon, Indiana, who passed away on March 29, 2025 at the age of 82. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Robert E. Alexander to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Treva Lucille and Raymond Alexander; his siblings, Jean Miller and Warren Alexander Sr.; and his sons, Robert E. Alexander Jr. and Ryan Martin.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Alexander; his children, Michael Alexander of Seymour, James Alexander (Carey) of Madison, Alabama and Shay Speer (Scott) of Seymour; and his grandchildren, Michael Alexander (Amanda), Charles Alexander (Chloe), Terry Alexander, Hope Alexander, Elizabeth Alexander, Matthew Stefanski, Laurana Speer (John Barnard) and Liam Speer. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home (420 S State St, North Vernon, IN 47265). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at the Graham Baptist Cemetery (2645 S County Rd 600 E, Butlerville, IN 47223).
