He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Vaughn and Edna Vaughn (Taylor); his son Brian Vaughn; and his brothers, Steven and Logan Vaughn.

He is survived by: his wife Karen Vaughn of North Vernon; his son Jonathan Vaughn of North Vernon; his daughter-in-law Stephanie Vaughn of Seymour; his grandsons, Austin and Mason Vaughn; and his sister Christine Wolka (Brian) of Seymour.

Memorials can be made through the funeral home to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
