It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phillip Mickel Thixton of North Vernon, Indiana, born in Seymour, Indiana, who passed away on August 14, 2020, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Thixton and Alice Thixton (Peachee); and his son Michael Thixton. He is survived by: his brothers, Vic Thixton (Cindy) of Seymour and Rodger Thixton of Jacksonville; and his stepbrother Gregg Galbraith (Theresa) of Goodlettsville, Tennessee. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
Friends may call from 12:00 noon until the time of the service on Tuesday at Spurgeon Funeral Home, Inc. Due to the Covid 19 Pandemic, Spurgeon Funeral Home, Inc. will be practicing social distancing according to CDC guidelines.
