Peggy Ellen Roberts Obituary

She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Fleming and Dorothy Bowerly (Robertson); her husband Robert L. Roberts; her close friend Coral; her brothers, Patrick Fleming, Gordon Bowerly and Michael "Chub" Fleming; her stepparents, Thomas Bowerly and Barbara Fleming; and her niece Heather Holland.
She is survived by: her children, Blake Roberts (Sarah) of North Vernon, Erin Mitchell (Stephen) of Dupont and Mackenzie Roberts (James Viers) of North Vernon; her stepson Chris Bowling of North Vernon; her siblings, Thomas Bowerly of Tennessee, Lola Post (John) of Vernon, Callie Anderson of North Vernon, Marsha Burke (Ken) of Alabama and Phyllis Holland of Alabama; her sister-in-law Wilma Fleming of North Vernon; her grandchildren, Amberly Kent (Jordan) of North Vernon, Thomas Bowling (Ashley) of North Vernon, Cole Roberts of North Vernon, Ryan (Lauren Teike) of Franklin, Ashlee Bello of Columbus, Dalton Mitchell of Dupont and Stephany Mitchell of Dupont; and her great grandchildren, Atlas Bosely of Columbus, Coltyn Moore of North Vernon, Collins Kent of North Vernon, Chevy Bowling of North Vernon and Remington Bowling of North Vernon. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, great nephews, and great nieces.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home (420 S State St, North Vernon, IN 47265). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at the Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery (1415 Msh N Ln, Madison, IN 47250).
Memorial donations may be made in honor of Peggy through the funeral home to help with expenses.
