He was predeceased by: his parents, Sebe Green and Hazel Green (Branham); and his siblings, Marion, Gilbert Green, Betty Fippen and Helen Harmon.

He is survived by: his wife Cora Maxine Green (Moore); his sons, Mike Green (Candy) of North Vernon, Gary Green (Ann) of Seymour and Steve Green (Cindy) of Columbus; his grandchildren, Julie Miller (Jeff) of Nashville, Emily Conley (Adam) of Greenwood, Melinda Wedde (Brandon) of Pittsburgh and Ben Green (Tori) of Jonesville; and his stepgrandchildren, Jake Robertson of North Vernon and Bonnie Chambers of North Vernon.

Memorials may be made in honor of Paul through the funeral home to First Baptist Church or Friends of the Library.
