He was predeceased by: his parents, Oran Kenneth and Mary Taulman Abbett, Sr. of Virginia. He is survived by: his children, Amanda Resch (Tanner) of North Vernon and Jason Mace of Seymour; his grandchildren, Greyson Resch, Zoey Kiefer and Taylor Hartwell; and his siblings, Beverly Abbett of Edinburgh, Kate Gray (Jack) of Edinburgh, James Abbett of Columbus and Sue Capps of Greensburg. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
