We are sad to announce that on September 5, 2023, at the age of 75, Nelson Ray Ponsler of North Vernon, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harlace M. Ponsler and Ruth E. Ponsler (Mozingo); and his sister Nancy Ann Perkins. He is survived by: his wife Norma Jean Burgess; his children, Holly Jean Huckelberry (Chris Gambrel) of Westport and Bradley Ray Ponsler (Emily) of North Vernon; his brother James L. Ponsler (Charlene) of North Vernon; and his grandchildren, Lydia, Natalie Ponsler, Garrett, Anna Huckelberry, Creed, Ben and Judah Gambrel.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Zenas Baptist Church, Westport Volunteer Fire Department or Our Hospice of South Central Indiana through the funeral home.
