He was predeceased by: his parents, Billy Curtis Moore and Betty Sering Lovell; his sons, Joe Curtis and David Allen Moore; and his nephew Fred Carl Moore Jr..

He is survived by: his son Tim Moore of North Vernon; his brother Fred Moore (Carla) of Greencastle; and his grandchildren, Bryson Moore, Caiden Moore, Chloe Moore and Mason Moore. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
