She was predeceased by: her parents, James Combs and Ora Mae Combs; her husband James Raymond Hood; her son Richard Raymond Hood; her siblings, Mayrene Bell and Mary Sample; and her grandchild Jamie Hood.

She is survived by: her son James Hood (Autumn) of North Vernon; her sisters, Martha Jenkins of Bowling Green and Rose Vencil of Florida; her grandchildren, Mae, Majestic, Jessie and Carissa; and her great grandchildren, Destiny, Juanita and Isabella.

Memorials may be made in honor of Mildred through the funeral home to donor's choice of organization.
