He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Eastman and Theresa Eastman (Paul); his wife Nancy Eastman; and his brother Clifford Eastman. He is survived by: his children, Kate Eastman of Lafayette and Jon Eastman of Lafayette; and his brothers, David Eastman of Pennsylvania, John Eastman of Michigan, Phillip Eastman of Minnesota and James Eastman of Indianapolis.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the First United Methodist Church or the Indiana Veterans Home in West Lafayette..
