She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Folsom and Grace Horn Folsom; her spouse John Whitehead; her siblings, George Folsom, Betty Sharp and Lea Mae Fortner; and her great grandchild Kayla Renoll.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Whitehead (Nancy) of Scipio, Mary Jane Broadus of Jacksonville, FL and Kathy Montgomery (Tim) of North Vernon. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.
