We are sad to announce that on May 24, 2021, at the age of 83, Mary Poer of North Vernon, Indiana, born in Greenwood, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harley W. McIntire and Nancy I McIntire (Dalton); her sons, Robert Eugene and David Poer; and her siblings, Daniel, Harley McIntire, Martha E. Doty and Ruth Snyder.
She is survived by: her husband Walter Eugene "Gene" Poer; her children, Dan Poer (Connie) of Butlerville and Linda Sue Mullins (Jiles) of North Vernon; her sister Fern Horn of Florence, Kentucky; her grandchildren, Tim Poer (Susan) of North Vernon, Monica Mullins of North Vernon and Kristi Galarza (Joel) of Leadville, Colorado; and her great grandchildren, Levi Galarza of Leadville, Leo Galarza of Leadville, Jorgia Ashpaugh of North Vernon, Justice Ashpaugh of North Vernon, Jonathan Ashpaugh, Jr. of North Vernon, Jasmyn Horn of North Vernon, Gaige Poer of North Vernon and Maddin Saylor of Butlerville.
Memorials may be made in honor of Mary through the funeral home to Susan B. Komen Breast Cancer Research.
