She was predeceased by: her parents, Ozzy Sharp and Ruby Sharp (Stigdon); her husband Malcolm Dwight King; her sons, Dennis L. and Thomas D. King; her sons-in-law, John "JJ" White and Larry J. Smiley; her grandson Kristopher Stephens; and her siblings, Paul, Donald Sharp, Kathleen Fillenworth and Velma Richard.
She is survived by: her daughters, Marsha White of North Vernon, Kathy King of North Vernon, Diane Spurgeon (Mark) of Seymour and Karen Burgess (JW) of New Albany; her daughter-in-law Beth King of Scipio; her sister Nadine Reed of Elizabethtown; her sister-in-law Mary Lynne Sharp of Seymour; and her grandchildren, Kathleen Stephens of Cullman, Aaron Spurgeon (Kari) of Columbus, Allison Johnson (Brad) of Elizabethtown, Andrew Spurgeon (Leah) of Seymour, Angela Foster (David) of Seymour, Danielle Storm (Pete) of Seymour, Casey Patterson of Scipio, Brad King of Scipio, Rachel King (Mike) of Scipio and Matthew Patterson of North Vernon. She is also survived by twenty-three great-grandchildren.
Memorials in honor of Mary may be made through the funeral home to Browns Corner Chapel, American Cancer Society and Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.
