With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marvin Lonzo Cain of North Vernon, Indiana, born in Scipio, Indiana, who passed away on July 8, 2023 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Everet and Bessie Cain (Campbell); his wife Ruth Perry; his former wife Kathryn Moir Cain; and his brothers, Earl, William and Ralph Cain.
He is survived by: his caregivers, Barry and Sandy Vance of North Vernon; his stepdaughter Melanie Moir Day of Columbus; and his nephews, Herbert Cain of Zionsville, Donnie Cain of Plainfield and Robert Cain of Indianapolis.
Memorials may be made in honor of Marvin through the funeral home to the Scipio United Methodist Church or the Senior Resource Center.
