We are sad to announce that on April 21, 2025, at the age of 83, Lois Ann Gholson of North Vernon, Indiana, born in Anderson, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Noble Krom and Louise Krom (Cunningham); her husband Ronald L. Gholson, Sr.; and her son-in-law David "Dave" W. Ochs. She is survived by: her children, Rhonda Ann Ochs of Greenwood, Rochelle Lee Douglas (Jon) of Louisville and Ronald L. Gholson, Jr. (Pam) of North Vernon; her grandchildren, Ashley Gholson of Columbus, Devin Gholson (Olivia) of North Vernon, Katie Robertson (Michael) of Newburgh, Allie Stogner (Patrick) of Atlanta, Maddie Ochs of Greenwood, Keaton Douglas (Morgan) of Ketchikan and Kameron Douglas of Evansville; and her great grandchildren, Titus Robertson, Ember Gholson and Calvin Gholson. She is also survived by her children and grandchildren as a generous and loving mother and "Mamaw".
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bass & Gasper Funeral Home (402 E Bennett St, Westport, IN 47283). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to Gentiva Hospice, Westport Volunteer Fire Department, First Baptist Church of North Vernon or Harvest Baptist Church of North Vernon through the funeral home.
