She was predeceased by: her father Elmer Banister; her stepfather James Sutherland; and her brother Billy Joe Banister. She is survived by: her mother Peggy Banister Sutherland (Stoner) of North Vernon; her sons, Dylan Banister (Tamar Helton) of North Vernon and Payne Bannister of St. Louis, Missouri; her sisters, Brenda Lockwood of North Vernon, Linda Banister of North Vernon and Mary Elliott (Jay) of North Vernon; and her grandchildren, Dylan Banister of North Vernon and Harmony Banister of North Vernon.
