Linda M. Day Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 14, 2023, at the age of 79, Linda M. Day of North Vernon, Indiana, born in Columbus, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Millard Emerson Morrison and Regina Elizabeth Morrison (McKnight); her husband John Day; her siblings, Gleama Morrison and Roscoe Verlin Morrison; and her close friend Charles "Bill" Robbins.
She is survived by: her children, Heida Garrett (Rodney) of North Vernon, Rosanna Day (Jan) of North Vernon and Terry Day (Tamara) of North Vernon; her sister Darylene Blancett of Columbus; her grandchildren, Danielle Lynch, Johnathan, Samantha Garrett, Janaye Dalrymple, Randi Hughes, Cole and Steele Day; her great grandchildren, Alexis, Raelyn, Rieleh Hughes, Kasen, Corbin Lynch and Stella Garrett; her daughter Charla Nash; and her granddaughters, Cassie and Tori Nash. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers or keepsakes, the family encourages you to follow Linda's example and support one of the following causes: the John E. and Linda M. Day Family Giving Fund that supports the Jennings County Coordination Council to help provide food baskets for Christmas, the National Kidney Foundation of Indiana, the Jennings County 4-H Program, or donate in memory of Linda to the charitable organization of your choice.
