He is survived by: his wife Victoria Ernstes of North Vernon; his children, Rose, Marie Howell (Robert) of North Vernon, Angela Marie Perry (Robert) of North Vernon, Carolyn Marie Siddiqui (Siraj) of Indianapolis, Elizabeth Marie Harriman (Jacob) of North Vernon, Catherine Marie Clark (Casey) of North Vernon, John Leonard Ernstes (Tracy) of North Vernon, Benjamin Louis Ernstes (Kelly) of North Vernon, Robert Lee Ernstes of North Vernon, Daniel Lawrence Ernstes (Tawnia) and Samuel Logan Ernstes (Casey); and his siblings, Raymond Ernstes (Edna) of North Vernon and Dorothy Eder (Tom Luedman) of North Vernon. He is also survived by thirty-seven grandchildren; twenty-three great grandchildren.
