We are sad to announce that on December 19, 2024, at the age of 56, Larry Lee Shinolt Jr. of North Vernon, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Larry departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Larry may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Larry leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his mother Sharon Herr (Russell); his aunt Linda; his uncle Jack Pettigrew; his cousin Carla Belding; and his grandparents, Donald and Mary Tolbert.
He is survived by: his father Larry Lee Shinolt Sr. of North Vernon; his brother Donald Lee Shinolt of Bradenton, Florida; his uncle Carl "Doc" Shinolt (Betty) of Butlerville; and his cousins, Lori Pettigrew of Columbus, Paula Wright of Butlerville and Jim Shinolt of Butlerville.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home (420 S State St, North Vernon, IN 47265). A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
