It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kristy Renee Carpenter of North Vernon, Indiana, born in Columbus, Indiana, who passed away on October 15, 2022, at the age of 49, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Melvin "Gene" Kimbler; her boyfriend Andy Galyen; her nephew Kory Fields; and her grandparents, James and Marie Douglas.
She is survived by: her mother Connie Kimbler (Strong) of North Vernon; her children, Kody Perry of North Vernon, Kesshia Johnson (Michael Duncan) of North Vernon and Karla Hildreth of Columbus; her siblings, Shane Kimbler of North Vernon and Lori Fields of North Vernon; her grandchildren, Krystal Johnson of North Vernon, Kayne Johnson of North Vernon and Katrina Mathews of North Vernon; and her nieces and nephews, Trinity Patton of North Vernon, Kasey Ault of Columbus, Trista Kimbler (Simeon Bryant) of Scottsburg, Kelby Fields of Columbus and Titus Kimbler of Madison.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers a memorial donation be made in Kristy's honor for funeral expenses.
