She was predeceased by: her father Kenneth Carter; and her great-grandparent Emma Helwig. She is survived by: her mother Rhea Halfacre (Bill) of North Vernon; her children, Jesse Watts of North Vernon and Alexa Reeves of Columbus; her sisters, Lesa Carter of Columbus and Bridget Carter (Gary) of Seymour; her grandchildren, Jayce Clawson and Jaxyn Cox; and her pet Sammi.

Memorials may be made to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
