It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathyrine Marie Birdwell of North Vernon, Indiana, who passed away on February 12, 2021, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Martin and Vesta B. Smith (Price); her husband David Birdwell; and her siblings, Herbert Donald Smith, Sybil Marie "Tootsie" Green, Wanda Jean "Bug" Lockett and Bonnell S. Biles.
She is survived by: her son David E. Birdwell of North Vernon; her siblings, Elbert Ronald Smith (Crealoa) of Whitleyville, William Earl Smith (Sue) of Elizabethtown, Indiana, Jewell Dean Cross (Carlie) of Elizabethtown, IN. and Dorthean Goodwin (David); and her granddaughter Kirsten Marie Birdwell of North Vernon. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
