He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Jones and Carolyn Jones (Engleking); his brothers, Tim and Matthew Jones; and his siblings-in-law, Larry Muncy and Della Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Tammy Dillon; his children, Toby Jones (Tonya) of North Vernon, William Dillon (Amanda) of North Vernon, Jake Creamer of Lizton, Michael Richey of Columbus and Alicia Jones of Jonesville; his siblings, Ray Jones (Denise) of Seymour, Eddie Jones (Shannon) of Crothersville, Linda Muncy of Crothersville and Teresa Robinson (Anthony) of Deputy; and his grandchildren, Elijah Jones, Jlynn Jones, Logan Jones, John Hunter Jones, Aaralynn Hollin, Alivia Wooton, Zaydyn Perry, Malia Dillon and Koltyn Creamer.
Memorials may be made in honor of Sherman through the funeral home to the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS) for Parkinsonians type MSA (MAS-P).
