He is survived by: his wife Kim Chastain; his children, Chris Eaton (Cynthia) of North Vernon and April Eaton of North Vernon; his siblings, Paul Eaton (Sherry) of North Vernon, Steve Eaton (Debbie) of Grammer, Dot Laudermilk of Seymour, Janet Eaton of North Vernon and Suzanne Spencer of North Vernon; his grandchildren, Logan Eaton of North Vernon and Bristol Eaton of North Vernon; and his aunt Connie Day of North Vernon.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home in honor of John for expenses or the Pioneer Engineers Club of Indiana.
