She is survived by: her husband Gene Hankins; her daughters, Haley Smotherman (Jason) of Indianapolis and Hanna Hankins (Brandon Smith) of Seymour; her stepchildren, Scott Douglas Hankins of North Vernon, Kelly S. Shepherd of Columbus and Shannon Renee Gasper of North Vernon; her siblings, Walt "Wally" Passet of Encinitas, California and Margaret "Maggie" Nichols of North Vernon; her grandchildren, Aaron Michael Jackson Jr. of Hayden, Tiffany Fields of North Vernon, Braden Gasper of North Vernon, Derek Gasper of North Vernon, Megan Gasper of North Vernon, Eden Shepherd of Irvine and Andy Shepherd of Indianapolis; and her great grandchildren, Blakely of North Vernon, Kane of North Vernon, Kason of North Vernon, Aidee of North Vernon and Emmit of North Vernon.
