He was predeceased by: his mother Janette Lucille; and his son Eric Byron Berkshire. He is survived by: his uncles, Shaffer, Carroll, Arthur and Donald; his wife Martha; his daughters, Juliet Berkshire and Janette Berkshire; his grandchildren, Ashley Erdely (Kirby) and Brandon Sprouse (Eleanor); and his great grandchildren, Iyla Grace Erdely and Julian Lee Sprouse.
