It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Redding of North Vernon, Indiana, born in Indianapolis, Indiana, who passed away on December 19, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Allen Redding Sr. and Margaret Redding (Hemmelgarn); his son Danny Redding; his grandson Robert "Robby" Redding; and his sister Betsy Houston.
He is survived by: his wife Delores Redding (Gardner) of North Vernon; his daughter Penny Wilder (Fred) of North Vernon; his sister Helen Houtekier of Troy, Michigan; and his grandchildren, Kenneth Wayne Spencer III of North Vernon and Paylea Jean Wilder of North Vernon.
In compliance with CDC COVID-19 guidelines, only 50 people will be allowed in the funeral home during visitation at a time.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home in Jim's honor to help with expenses.
