He was predeceased by: his parents, Edger Joslin and Gertrude Gifford Joslin; his spouse Vonnie Burton; his daughters, Patricia Smith and Tammy Proffitt; his siblings, John Franklin, Bobby Ray, Billy Joslin, Helen Burton and Ruby Cobb; and his granddaughter Cara Smith.
He is survived by: his sisters, Jo Ann Dress (Robert) of Louisville and Kathryn Roberts (Mike) of Springfield; his grandchildren, Jerad Smith (Clara) of Florence and Leonard Burton (Sierra) of Port St; and his great grandchildren, Zailyne Smith of Florence, Martell Smith of Florence, Cariel Smith of Florence, Caitlin Smith of Florence, Patience Stogdill of Seymour and Olivia Wade of North Vernon.
