He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Chaney and Sybil Chaney (Taylor); his wife Cheryl Sue Eadler; and his brothers, Ray Taylor and Charles Chaney.
He is survived by: his children, Jeffery Dickerson (Teresa) of Leavenworth, James Chaney (Christine) of Nashville, Tennessee, Lisa Duke (Charles) of Edinburgh and Jamie Rittman (Nathan) of Freetown. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
Memorials may be made in honor of James through the funeral home to the Alzheimer's Association.
