It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Catterton of North Vernon, Indiana, who passed away on September 17, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward O'Neal Catterton and Anna Catterton Vice (Weber); his daughter Deanna Followell; his siblings, William Ray Catterton and Donna Mae Tucker; his great grandchild Aubrey Catterton; his stepfather Everett Vice; and his sister-in-law Lorene Kay Catterton.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Jean Beach; his sons, Dennis Catterton (Anita) of North Vernon, Dewayne Catterton of North Vernon and Donald Catterton (Robin) of Hanover; his nephew Ray O'Neal Catterton (Marica); his nieces, Sandra Benefield and Sharon Cude (Derek); his grandchildren, Samantha Catterton, Chris Catterton, Michael Catterton, Amber Reynolds and Sean Followell; and his son-in-law Michael Followell.
