We are sad to announce that on January 31, 2021, at the age of 85, Jackie Hembree of North Vernon, Indiana, born in Pineville, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John T. Hembree and Nelly E. Hembree (Brooks); his wife Freida Lee Hembree (Burton); his daughters-in-law, Peggy Lynn Hembree and Gladys Steely; and his siblings, Marie Hendrickson, Geneva Laws, Carrie Golden, Gladys Law, Della Brewer, Elmer, Lena, Dorisalean and Tom Delphus Hembree.
He is survived by: his pets, Max and Sammy; his children, Ronnie Hubbard (Kathy) of Columbus, Larry Hembree of North Vernon, Joseph Steely of Dayton, Ohio, Debra Arnold (Roy) of North Vernon and Sheila Neff (Robert) of Deputy; his siblings, Don Hembree of Corbin, Kentucky and Naomi Hembree of Indianapolis; and his grandchildren, Robert Hembree (Gretchen) of North Vernon, Jennifer Cowan (Matt) of North Vernon, Buck Riley Scott Hembree of North Vernon, Victoria Marlene Hembree of North Vernon, Katrina Bell (Richard) of Coral Springs, Jason Neff (Linda) of Deputy, David Redicker (Donna) of Crothersville, Deanna Redicker of Columbus, Heather Mills (Jason) of Columbus, Brandy Hubbard of Columbus and Ronnie Hubbard (Kelsey) of Columbus. He is also survived by sixteen great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made in honor of Jackie through the funeral home to Mercy Rescue and Adoption of Jennings County.
