She was predeceased by: her parents, Ash Cook and Wilma Cook (Brown); her husband Tommy Brand; her son Michael Phelps; and her siblings, Ann Daniel, Hazel Cook, Mary Whiting, Goldie Agosto, Diane Pierce and Bob Wills.
She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Burgmeier of North Vernon, Stacy Cathey of North Vernon and Sonya Smith of Cleveland; her siblings, Wilma Galiczynski of Cleveland, OH, Kathy of West Virginia, Paugh of West Virginia, Sissy Halstead of West Virginia, Ellen Ann Stover and Bill Wills; and her grandchildren, Trenton, Brenton Ferguson, Rebecca McIntosh, Clinton Maschino, Mylee Matern, Danny and Matt Smith. She is also survived by fifteen great grandchildren.
