It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ida Shepherd (North Vernon, Indiana), born in Bedford, Kentucky, who passed away on February 1, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Payton and Lillie Johnson Payton; her spouse Jerry Lee Shepherd; her son Gary Allen Shepherd; her sister Edna Payton; and her great grandchild Faith Browning.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Shepherd, Jr. (Marie) of North Vernon and Teresa Shepherd of Crothersville; her brother Carl Payton of North Vernon; and her grandchildren, Nathan, Hannah, Mike, Tonya Shepherd, Matt Browning and Missi Clouse. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Shrine Transport Fund.
