It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Herbert Raymond Ritchie of North Vernon, Indiana, who passed away on April 20, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Zelda Ritchie and Gibbs; his son Bruce Ritchie; and his siblings, Doc, Ed, Rob, Chester Ritchie, Judy Hayes and Millie Teasley.
He is survived by: his close friend Dorothy Williams (Sweany); his children, Ralph Ritchie (Debbie) of Alma, Kansas, Karen Ritchie-Donovan of Toronto and Susie Lamb (Scott) of Hillsboro, Ohio; and his sister Carrie Ritchie-Young of Kentucky.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM and on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM and on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM.
