He was predeceased by: his parents, William Stewart and Elma Viola Stewart (Reece); his former wife Betty Jane Stewart (Breeck); his son Don Ellerbrook; and his sisters, Emma Jean Stewart and Marjorie Funke.
He is survived by: his wife Dee Stewart (Swindell) of North Vernon; his son William Bryan Stewart (Ginger) of Fort Wayne; his daughter-in-law Linda Ellerbrook of North Vernon; his sister Ruby Cunningham of Columbus; his grandchildren, Lori Dawn Leahigh of North Vernon, Justin Edward Ellerbrook of St. Petersburg, Brook Rene Stewart Zimmerman (Shane) of Indianapolis, P. J, King of Seymour and Nathan King of New Albany; his great grandchildren, Garrett Cole Leahigh (Morgan) of North Vernon, Benjamin Wallace of North Vernon, Mary Elizabeth Leahigh of St. Augustine, Abigail Jane Zimmerman of Indianapolis and Katherine Elizabeth Zimmerman of Indianapolis; and his great great grandchild Eva Leahigh of North Vernon.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home in Harry's honor to Our Hospice of Jennings County or to Jennings County High School's Track and Field team.
