He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George H. Stewart and Loretta May Stewart (Faulding); his wife Norma Rodda; his children, Theresa Neff (Curt) of North Vernon, Julie Howard (Bob) of Greensburg, Angie Edmondson (Danny) of North Vernon, Charlie Stewart (Christine) of Ten Mile, Tony Stewart of Colorado and Frank Rodda (Sara) of Greensburg; his sisters, Phyllis McKeown of Sunman, Tina Clift of Osgood, Diana Reed of Colorado and Bonnie Jenkins of Batesville; and his half-brother Harvey Butler of Lawrenceburg. He was also cherished by his 20 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren.
