She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles May and Carrie May (Tebby); her husband Earl Yates; and her siblings, Clyde, Roy May, Kathryn Lawson and Margaret Mueller.
She is survived by: her children, Earl Raymond Yates (Becky) of Indianapolis, Larry Yates (Andrea Slone) of Cincinnati, Ohio, Mary Beth Yates of North Vernon and Linda Parks (Jay) of Fort Thomas, Kentucky; her grandchildren, Brian Parks (Charity) of Cincinnati, Carrie Biales (Adam) of Cincinnati and David Parks (Sandra) of Lexington, Massachusetts; and her great grandchildren, Zanna, Finn, Dominic, Madeleine, Brendan and Brady.
Memorials may be made in honor of Geraldine through the funeral home to North Vernon Wesleyan Church.
