It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Andrew Branam of North Vernon, Indiana, born in Columbus, Indiana, who passed away on August 12, 2022, at the age of 35, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Jimmie S. Branam; his grandfather James H. Smith; and his great-grandparents, Gerald and Betty Fields. He is survived by: his mother Kimberly Kostek (Smith) of North Vernon; his wife Sommer Porter; his children, Xxavier Biddinger of North Vernon, Lyrick Biddinger of North Vernon and Jericah Kissick of North Vernon; his siblings, Jake Branam of Seymour, Rebecca Murphy (Michael) of Columbus and Sarah Thomas (Chad) of North Vernon; his grandmothers, Rose Ann Rudicel of North Vernon and Frances McGuire of North Vernon; and his nieces and nephews, Blake Hardesty of North Vernon, Jesse Thomas of North Vernon, Jaxxson Thomas of North Vernon, Jaizyn Cruse of Columbus, Madisyn Hardesty of Columbus, Megan Shipley of Indianapolis, Sidnee Thomas of North Vernon and Aryann Baughman of Seymour.
Memorials may be made in honor of Andrew through the funeral home for a scholarship fund that is to be established for his children.
