She was predeceased by: her parents, Sid Gabbard and Carrie J. Gabbard (Combs); her husband Richard R. Day; her son Richard Day; and her siblings, Elijah, David, Earl, James, Donald Gabbard, Della, Ruby Gabbard and Betty Lanham.
She is survived by: her children, Mark E. Day of North Vernon, Steve Day (Janice) of Deputy and Marilyn Terrell (Raymond) of North Vernon; her siblings, Sidney Gabbard (Reba) of North Vernon, June Franks (Raymond) of North Vernon and Marie Howell (Jim) of Ohio; and her grandchildren, Rickie Matthews of Columbus, Lisa Matthews of North Vernon, Delana Porter (Josh) of North Vernon, Mathew Day of North Vernon, Ryan Day of North Vernon and Steve Day (Tabatha) of North Vernon. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home in honor of Georgia for expenses.
