He was predeceased by: his parents, Keith Aiden and Betty Mae Layman (Webster); and his brother Edward Aiden Layman. He is survived by: his children, Ryan Layman (Andrea) of North Vernon, Ericka Young of North Vernon and Kyra Layman of North Vernon; his sister Kathryn "Kitty" Shepherd (Randy) of North Vernon; and his grandchildren, Carson Layman of North Vernon and Reign Guarino of North Vernon.

Memorials may be made in honor of Scott through the funeral home for expenses.
