He was predeceased by: his parents, John Smith and Juanita Smith (Phelps); and his brother Terry Smith. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Smith of North Vernon; his children, Dawn Bowers (Todd) of Aurora and Aaron Smith (Francoise) of Tours, France; his sister Darlene Smith of Indianapolis; and his grandchildren, Isaac, Olivia Bowers and Merlin Smith.
