He is survived by: his mother Nancy Joan Chastain Smith (Eugene) of Jonesville; his wife Tina Ferguson of North Vernon; his children, Gary Wayne Ferguson Jr. (Amanda) of North Vernon and Chelsey Nochim (Anthony) of Louisville, Kentucky; his stepmother Grace Ferguson of Columbus; his siblings, Donald Ray "Buddy" Ferguson Jr. (Kellie) of Columbus, Rev. Chris Ferguson (Penny) of Linton and Shannon Diane Anderson (Christian) of North Vernon; and his grandchildren, Zion Bella Nochim of Louisville, Kentucky. and Garrison Nochim of Louisville, Kentucky..
